Job Description :
As a member of Oracle’s finance organization, you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for planning and control. Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results; preparation of annual budget. Gather, model, analyze, prepare, and summarize information for financial plans, operating forecasts, trended future specifications, etc.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Support the Software Manufacturing and Distribution organization worldwide (mainly US, Ireland, Czech Republic, India, United Kingdom and Philippines)
- Prepare budget and forecast for global line of business
- Close monthly account records, including journal entries, reconciling, researching discrepancies through investigation, and ad-hoc reporting
- Ensure the accuracy of all inventory accounting; perform ongoing audits of activity
- Prepare financial reports for upper management to review; conduct cost-benefit analysis on potential changes to supply-chain
Qualifications :
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated advanced skills in Excel – Pivot Tables, Macros, Vlookup a plus
- Completion of basic Finance and Accounting courses desired
- 0 to 2+ years’ experience
- BA/BS degree in business.
