Job Description :
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.
Role and Responsibility :
- As an “Automation Engineer” you will develop software solutions for machine automation with varied tasks, such as: Concept creation and requirements engineering for intelligent machine automation
- Software development with our engineering tool “Automation Studio”
- Automation and testing of our latest product developments and technologies
- Commissioning at our customers’ sites
- Support and assistance with technical issues.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical / electronics / instrumentation /mechatronics)
- Knowledge in software development for automation technology (high-level languages e.g. ST, C)
- 0 to 4 years in ‘Machine Automation’ development and support experience
- Confident in communication in the English language and local language
- Experience in the field of automation / electrical (PLC, drives, control systems, motion control).
