Job Description

As the Director of Software Engineering, you will lead the engineering team responsible for the ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database). This includes the CMDB, an advanced analytics and orchestration engine that powers the data entry process, as well as the ServiceNow service graph connectivity technology that pulls data from popular cloud and non-cloud third parties such as AWS, MS Azure, JAMF, Dynatrace, Apigee, Intune, etc.
ServiceNow’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is a “single point of truth” repository designed to store and manage information about all the assets an organization uses, and to identify dependencies and relationships between products. Our large customers have hundreds of millions of items installed in their CMDBs, and that number is growing. Our customers have access to hundreds of applications running on the ServiceNow CMDB in the ServiceNow store. The CMDB is the foundation of all these ServiceNow applications and a core mission-critical component of our existing customer platforms.

Roles And Responsibility :

Maintain current testing procedures
Collect and report quality measures for testing
Work with developers to create and implement specific testing strategies for features in development
Create a successful test plan;
Support engineering organizations in troubleshooting or resolving issues with applications and development/test environments

Qualifications:

0+ years of SN-related experience and coding skills will be advantageous.
Experience working on various test automation frameworks such as Java, JUnit, Selenium, TestNG, and other open source.
Experience with Agile Methods for Software Development Teams.
Ability to understand various types of testing (e.g. performance, unit, integration, automation), their advantages and disadvantages, and how to best utilize them, Includes tracking and resolving discovery issues.
Ability to use tools (e.g., IDEs, debuggers, development tools, administration sites, ServiceNow instances, profilers, system administration/Unix tools) to assist with daily operations.
